Description

We are seeking an experienced NACE Level 2 (AMPP CIP 2) Coatings Inspector to join our team at the Phillips 66 – Bayway Refinery in Linden, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coating inspections for pressure vessels, piping, and other process equipment in a demanding industrial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Document coating applications on pressure vessels and piping through detailed written reports and high-quality photographs
• Monitor and verify coating application processes to ensure compliance with specifications and industry standards
• Apply knowledge of Thermal Spray Aluminum (TSA) coatings and epoxy-type composite repair installations
• Track and manage multiple projects simultaneously across various plant locations
• Maintain clear, professional communication with clients, contractors, and internal teams

Requirements

Qualifications:

• NACE Level 2 (AMPP CIP 2) Certification – preferred
• NACE Level 1 (AMPP CIP 1) Certification – candidate with significant related experience will be considered
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
