Every day is different. You'll spend time both in the field and in the office supporting projects through inspections, audits, quality documentation and technical problem solving.
You'll work directly with customers, project teams and field personnel to help ensure projects meet customer specifications, industry standards and company expectations.
What You'll Do
- Serve as one of ABC's primary resources for industrial coatings and quality standards
- Support quality assurance and quality control activities across multiple active projects Verify compliance with customer specifications, AMPP/NACE standards and project requirements
- Conduct coating inspections, audits and quality reviews
- Interpret complex specifications and provide technical recommendations
- Identify quality concerns before they become costly problems
- Prepare detailed inspection reports and quality documentation
- Work directly with customers, inspectors, project managers and operations teams Train and mentor field personnel
- Promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Requirements
Qualifications
Required
- AMPP Senior Certified Coatings Inspector (formerly NACE CIP Level 3) OR NACE Level 3 Certification
- Minimum 5 years of industrial coatings, corrosion control or surface preparation experience
- Strong knowledge of coating inspection procedures and industry standards
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass post-offer background check, physical and DOT-regulated drug screen Willingness to travel extensively
Preferred
- Quality oversight, quality program, or quality coordination experience
- Petrochemical, pipeline, marine, tank, power generation or heavy industrial experience Training and mentoring experience
- Microsoft Office/reporting software proficiency
- Spanish language skills are beneficial but not required
