Company Overview
Sauereisen, Inc. formulates, manufactures, and markets corrosion resistant materials of construction. Major product categories include coatings, linings, mortars, refractories, flooring, and polymer concrete. Diverse chemistries range from cement-based products to organic chemistries such as epoxy, vinylester, and urethane. Sauereisen materials protect the infrastructure (both concrete & steel substrates) of the power generation, wastewater, chemical processing, food & beverage, pulp & paper, steel, and mining industries.
Company History
Our company dates back to 1899 when C. Fred Sauereisen formulated his first specialty adhesive for high temperature applications. Sauereisen Cements, as it was originally called, expanded into the corrosion field by developing the capability to resist exposure to acid and other aggressive chemicals. Through product development and multiple acquisitions, Sauereisen's product line has grown to include both inorganic and organic chemistries. Sauereisen materials are specified worldwide for the protection of power plant chimneys, underground sewage structures, process floors and secondary containment surfaces.
